At Bumble and Bean, our purpose is to provide a safe, fun place for your child to grow and flourish. The children are immersed in warm and loving environments that allows them to play, learn, explore, and have fun each and every day. Through enriching experiences, such as playing with friends, singing, dancing, building, playing games, enjoying story time, doing crafts, exploring sensory bins and playing outside, your child will be physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually cared for.
Bumble and Bean offers a variety of enriching programs such as our intergenerational program at our Hamlets at Westsyde Senior’s Care Facility. Located in a Senior’s Care Facility, the children have opportunities to build meaningful relationships with the seniors in our community. Studies show that frequent interactions with children throughout their day help our seniors by alleviating symptoms of loneliness and isolation. It also encourages seniors to engage in physical activity by playing with the children- enjoying the spirit and joy that children bring to their lives. In turn, children learn the importance of empathy, compassion, and care towards our seniors.
At our Franklin Road location, we are so fortunate to be just steps away from The Little Farmer’s Zoo and Westsyde Centennial Park which features an outdoor rink, picnic area, soccer fields, playground, waterpark, and a variety of animals the children can pet, interact with and feed.
Our Infant/Toddler Room is an intimate setting that is truly a home-away-from-home for your little one. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac with access to a beautiful, fully-fenced backyard, you will have the peace of mind knowing that your baby or toddler is exploring, learning, and growing all in the safety and comforts of home.
Our school-age programs are designed with your ever-growing “Big Kid” in mind. After a busy day at school, we understand that your child needs to have a chance to reconnect with friends and have fun- it’s pretty much just one huge playdate each and every day! We spend a ton of time outside in the fresh air, where children are given opportunities to play on the playground, craft, play games and sports so that they go home happy and content after their busy day at school and daycare.
