Frequently Asked Questions
Unfortunately, all of our programs are currently full with a lengthy waitlist; however, we are happy to add your child to our waitlist. We will let you know as soon as there is a space available.
Bumble and Bean is located in the Westsyde community and offers out of school care pick up and drop offs to:
- Arthur Stevenson Elementary School
- Westsyde Elementary School
- David Thompson Elementary School
- Westmount Elementary School (pick up only)
- Ecole Collines-D’Or
There is a $50 x days/week deposit required upon registration. (example: if you require childcare 5 days/week then a deposit of $250 is required; 3 days/week requires a $150 deposit). When 30 days WRITTEN notice is given at the time you no longer require childcare, then the deposit will be returned to you (taken off your last month’s fees). If 30 days written notice is not given, then your deposit will not be returned to you and will be used in lieu of notice. This is to ensure that 30 days written notice is given so that the daycare has adequate notice to fill your child’s space.
We happily participate in the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative program. This program offers all children in our program a daily fee reduction. This amount will automatically be taken off your invoice each month.
We participate in the Affordable Child Care Benefit, so please go online to see if your family qualifies for this benefit. If so, your approved subsidy amount will automatically be taken off your fees each month.

Yes, we do. Bumble and Bean offers full time Monday-Friday and Part-time 2 or 3 days a week. Currently, we do not offer any 1 day or 4-day spots.
Due to the high volume of interest in our Bumble and Bean facilities, we are reserving all tours for only those families who have been offered a potential childcare spot.
